Description
Product Overview
The DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ is a 6 MP Smart Dual-Light turret camera in Dahua’s WizSense line, designed for accurate detection and reliable surveillance in challenging lighting conditions. It combines infrared and warm white light illumination to capture colour detail at night while limiting unnecessary light pollution. With built-in AI and AcuPick search capability, it’s ideal for Australian residential and commercial users who want clear evidence, minimal false alerts, and ease of use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key Capabilities
Smart Dual-Light Illumination
This camera fuses IR and warm white LEDs. In low light it uses infrared; when a relevant object is detected (human/vehicle), it switches on the warm light to produce full-colour video. This gives you useful colour footage at night but reduces continuous light pollution.
AcuPick & AI Search
Using deep learning, the camera can tag human/vehicle events and supports rapid video search across all AcuPick-capable devices. You can filter through footage by target type (people or vehicles) rather than scanning manually.
Perimeter Protection & SMD 4.0
It supports intelligent perimeter functions like intrusion and tripwire detection, distinguishing between humans and vehicles to reduce false alarms. The SMD 4.0 engine filters out unwanted motion triggers.
Starlight-Level & AI SSA Adaptation
The camera leverages starlight sensor performance for improved imaging in very low light (0.0005 lux B/W) and uses AI Scene Self-Adaption (AI SSA) to dynamically adjust settings in rain, fog, backlight or flicker conditions.
Efficient Compression & Flexible Streams
It supports smart H.265+, H.264+ encoding, three simultaneous video streams, and bit rate control (VBR/CBR/ABR) so you optimise for storage and bandwidth in real scenarios.

Choosing Between the 2.8mm and 3.6mm Lens
The DH-IPC-HDW3667EM-S-IL-ANZ supports either a 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm fixed lens, giving flexibility in field of view and distance coverage:
| Lens | Field of View | Best For | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2.8 mm | H: 110°, V: 58°, D: 132° | Wide zones (yards, general coverage) | Better coverage up close, but less reach for distance |
| 3.6 mm | H: 86°, V: 49°, D: 100° | Longer distance, narrower areas (paths, entrances) | Better for focusing on distant objects like gates or driveways |
Tip:
Use 2.8 mm when monitoring wide zones close to the camera.
Use 3.6 mm when distance detail matters (e.g. gates, street entrance).
